Little Surprise...
Then my results from my aging ultrasound was in and due date is January 6. Since I will have a c-section (because I had three before...), it should be done 5-10 days before the due date. So OB said: "I don't know what miracles we will do with this date...". Then I asked him if we could do it at midnight on January 1st... hi hi hi He looked at me funny and said "only emergency c-sections are done then..." His wife who works with him then said "Well it could be an emergency...". Now not that I am fearful but it could happen. But I trust the LORD with all my heart, soul and mind. I know that he has and continue to strenghten me in the area of the wall of my uterus. You see, when I was having Jérémy, I have been told that where the cut was, it was paper thin. Next pregnancy might be more risky. Just as we were getting our mind okay with the fact we had three and that we could travel TADA! I got pregnant. So I do believe God is with me at all times... So please pray for a good date!
Either baby comes in December or January. Won't know until September or October.
In the meantime, Alexandre did some French and some Maths yesterday while I was running around with my OB appointment and then to the clinic with Dominic who kept complaining of pain in his ear. The poor thing woke up 4 times the previous night crying. Gave him Tylenol but the pain was still there. So went to see a doctor and he has an ear infection. So on medication he is. This morning he is still sleeping so this is good.
Now if I can find the time to pack for camping...
Little surprise...
Yesterday I had my OB appointment and I was able to hear the heartbeat of the baby. Comment from the OB: You are lucky because it is pretty rare to hear it at 12 weeks. Horray for me!!!

LOST
On the Friday we had the grand finale at Saunders Farm before they went back to Alabama. That's when the costumes disappeared... Nobody seem to know where they are. They were in one of the buses at one point but when a friend went to go get them, buses were gone. Asked the bus drivers to check in the buses and nothing turned out... So we contacted the team in Alabama, they don't have them...
These costumes were hand-made by my mom and we used them in Dominican Republic when we went in 2005.
Below is a picture of the costumes... I have little hope to see them again. But I know my church will replace them somehow...
Not feeling so good.
Even with my devotion this morning, I didn't get better...
So many things in my head... from summer student to my mom. I am the kind of person who takes it on her when it doesn't go well and this is how I feel right now. WIsh I could resolve all problems but I can't.
I've got a high blood pressure headache that do not want to go away... Just want to go to bed. Don't feel like having fun...
LOST....
A couple of weeks ago, we had a team from Alabama coming to sing in the park and help us reach out to the community. We had a blast and it was great... For the event, we have been asked to lent the clown costumes we have so that some of the young adults could use them to entertain the people in the park.,,

Not sure what I am expecting by posting this issue here... Who knows, they might turn up somewhere. I particularly liked the two pieces one, the material had bunch of colored hearts on it...
Not feeling too good...
As my title suggest, I am not in my plate today. Depression, discouragement, sadness beyond words... Well you name it, I feel like this. I know I need to kick my butt and move on but I can't help to feel pity on myself.
Even with my devotion this morning, I didn't get better...

Hip Hip Horray
Surprised blessings...
So I go in to check at French book... Only things I've found was two French activity books - one for grade 1 for maths and one for grade 2 for words... Good. Go to the kids sections, found some stuff mostly for Alexandre. I also found two puppets and a pair of black pants for me.
Total bill was 31$. I had good deals indeed....
Happy Birthday Alexandre
Today Alexandre is turning 6! 6 years ago I became a mother... since then two other boys joined our family and a little one will join us sometime in December. And to think we were told our chances to become parents were small... God gave us little miracles for sure... To make a long story short, I became pregnant with Alexandre between two fertility treatments... It was a surprise to be honest but a great one.
Alexandre was positioned frankbreech which made me have a c-section. The first of many.... Anohow, when he came out he was so perfect.
Now because of his frankbreech position in the belly, Alexandre have a reflect for the longest time.... See below!
HIP HIP HORRAY....
I finally got my Come Sit By Me curriculum and The Ultimate Lap Book Handbook in the mail today... I am so happy and excited about it... Can't wait to see which books I need to get. I am going to check it out RIGHT now!
Surprised blessings...
This morning I decided that because it was all wet outside and I had only 2 kids, to go to Value Village (a second hand store in Canada) to check if they had any pregnancy shorts... I arrive there and it was packed... Why? I wonder. That's when I saw the sign... 50% on June 25th. Well... Well...

I survive...
... another birthday party! No really it was great. Just the perfect size. Alexandre will be officially 6 tomorrow and he left with daddy for a night at the trailer and some fishing. There is also something secret between them for something he wants to do. Don't know what it is... Oh well!
He got some more KNex which he loves, a Lego set to build a motorcycle (I think), some cash which means he can go pick what he wants to buy (hopefully not a Tamagotchi), a snorkelling set, Playmobil, soccer ball, soccer shoes, soccer sox and shin pads for protection on the legs (he is going to a soccer camp in two weeks!!!).
I sure hope they catch some fish and have a good time tomorrow.
Now I am pooped... tired like crazy... I do have some dishes to do but I don't feel like it. Will wait tomorrow. I think I am getting old for birthday parties. OUF!
Now there was a little girl from his class that was there with her family. They go to our church as well. But Alexandre and her keep saying they are girlfriend and boyfriend. It is kind of cute but I wonder how much do they really understand this... I pray that whoever will become his wife will love the Lord and will be willing to obey Him. If it is this little girl, all the better since I know the parents. If it is someone else, I pray that we get along well with the parents and that I have a special relationship with my daughter-in-law. That being said, I am thankful that I still have many years before this happens. I want to enjoy my 6 year old this year!

Congratulations Sweetheart!
Now his plans is to get his master degree with the Wagner Institute and eventually his doctorate. I pray that he realize his dreams... Once he gets his master, I won't be the only one with one... Yahoo!
Love you sweetheart!

Congratulations sweetheart!
After Alexandre graduating from SK, today it is the graduation of my husband from the school of the bible in our city. This course being a three years intensive time had been done in two years by him. I am so proud of him. I won't hide that it was hard at times to see him go studying and me staying alone with the kids but in the end I understood that he needed to do this.

Last day of school
I wonder how it will go in the next few weeks, trying to get organized and to plan a schedule of some sort.
Yesterday evening, he did his first lesson of French on the Rosetta Stone software and he loved it. We figure that this could ease my load a bit with the baby coming and all. So we found out that he can read a bit which is a very good news... He just need some encouragements!!!
I am still waiting PATIENTLY for my Come Sit By Me program. I know it is in the mail but boy is it slow to get here... Hopefully I will get it this week then I can see which books I need to get, go to Value Village (a second-hand store) to see if I can find some there for a cheap price... Books can be expensive sometimes. But hey, I have three kids following so it is not lost...
I am seriously thinking of starting in a few weeks with the Math-U-See... Alexandre has already 10 lessons done. So it shouldn't be a problem. He loved it.
You might think that I am crazy to do homeschooling during summer time but to be honest I like the suggestion that someone gave me because of the c-section and all... I want to take a bit of advance so that I can have a more relaxed schedule for the weeks after the arrival of baby #4. And I figure out that February is a hard month on me... somehow it affects my mood... more depressed somehow. And there is a possibility of a mission trip to Dominican Republic with our church. I won't be going but God's willing (contracts are needed...) Rob and Alexandre might go. We will see when the trip must be paid and see if we can afford it. I would have loved to go with them but baby will be only 1 months and a half so it is not a good thing.
Well, right now I have done lunch because we are having a picnic at the little party today at school. We are waiting until 10:15am to leave... Another 2 hours or so to go.
Good thing I had time to update this morning... I also had time to do my devotions which is good because lately I find it hard to do it early morning.

Oh My... what a mess!
Now to top it off I have two toys to test... one gross with Venon and glue stuff to catch Spider-Man and a game called BAM (Brain A Mania) with tiles that has braille on it. Kind of interesting. Just need to find time to do them.
On another matter, I calculate the number of people coming for Alexandre's birthday party and I thought that I might be short of cake... so I cooked some cupcakes. The cake he will have is made of cupcakes but the icing is illustrating a racing track with Lightning McQueen on it... Cool! So I made chocolate cupcakes... while hubby was away this morning since cooking chocolate with him in the house can give him massive headaches. Yes my hubby doesn't like chocolate that much. More for me and the boys!!!
Oh and we got a Lightning McQueen pinata and Dominic and I filled it this morning with Dollar store candies. Mmmm! We had fun.
Well, that's about it... Still can't figure out where to put everything. I think I'll take pictures of Alexandre's art stuff and dump it in the recycling bin. At least I will have memories. Can't keep everything for sure...
I am waiting patiently for my Come Sit by Me curriculum. Alexandre is finishing school this Thursday. Soon we will try to take some advance with Math and French.... Especially on those very hot days.
Oh my.... what a mess!
I am TOTALLY discourage every time I get into my office... Even with the purchase of the desk organizer I got while going in NY state, it is quite messy... Books everywhere, paper everywhere, stuff from Alexandre everywhere, a couple of shorts or pants from the husband somewhere on the floor... notebooks ie journals for the boys and mine somewhere in a corner... I can't seem to get over the pile of things that keeps accumulating. Does anyone has a solution to paper junk? Arg! it drives me nuts.

Body Shop and Compassion Canada
This week I participated to a panel for Compassion Canada and I got a gift for the 2 hours I was there. Inside the envelop was a generous gift certificate from Body Shop and a card from Starbucks.
I went to Body Shop yesterday and spend the gift certificate. Even the lady at the store seemed surprised with the amount... Oh well, I got some nice stuff for me. It's fun to spend when you don't have to pay much. I went over by 12$ so I ended up paying anyway but the bulk of it was free...
Now about Starbucks, I have no clue whatsoever how much if the card. So tomorrow as I go to my inSPIRE day away from family, I will pick up a coffee and check it out. I am very curious.
So this is my plus of the week... apart from the igodtour that is. These kids from Montgomery Alabama are amazing. I've seen them at the park down my street and they were sharing their faith as if it was regular stuff. I've seen a young lady sharing with an Hindu woman. I need to be that bold... I learned a lot by observing. Mind you, it's not as though I never shared my faith but I doubt I would have had the courage to approach an Hindu person... WoW! Good job!
Oh Oh! I am slowing down...
Boy I just realized that I am slow to update lately... I guess not much is happening except that life goes by fast.

Exciting week for our church
Today they will distribute flyer in my area and later today they will sing for Ottawa Inner-City Ministry which is a ministry to homeless people. Tomorrow flyers again in a different area and a party in the park down my street... and it continue on Wednesday with other singing including a party in another park in our community. Thursday it will be a fun evening for them since they will sign the national anthem of Canada to the Lynxs Game. Finally on Friday it is a big southern supper at a place called Saunders Farm. The community will be invited and we expect about 500 people to show up for that free supper and free mazes...
Please pray for nice weather for all the concerts and for Friday night.

Exciting week for our church....
This week at Sequoia we have the visit of the iGod tour from First Baptist Montgomery, Alabama. They are here to sing at various places and participate in some partys in the park in our community. So much is happening that I still wonder how we will get through the week.

End of the week...
Here's what happened this week...
First I went to play group and helped wash the toys. We were lucky because we had only the baby toys to do... Now I couldn't bring towels since I had a washer problem that Sunday and we had emptied the freezer to thaw it so I washed...
Tuesday was an appointment for Alexandre at the doctor to get his warts burned... Poor kid! He is like his mom - catching everything from the public swimming pool...
Wednesday was our anniversary. We went to see Pirates of the Carribbean III - At World's End. I liked it even though I was not feeling so good... My sinuses bugged me. Oh I also went for a blood test the morning...
Thursday, I went to the clinic close to home and got diagnosed with sinusitis. The doctor wasn't too keen to give me medication (it wasn't my family doctor...) but when I told her that if I don't get anything it will turn into a bronchitis and when she realized that I had sinusitis/bronchitis about 5 weeks ago, she did gave me a prescription. OUF!
Friday - today... I have trouble breathing... Bronchitis is there as I suspected. Hopefully by tomorrow I will feel better... We have a birthday party to go to - my nephew will be 4 later this month...
Now I just have to find the time and the energy to do the cake for Alexandre who will turn 6 later this month... Buying one would be 30$... He really wants the Lighting McQueen cake I did for his brother Dominic. Just need the energy really and the courage to start it.

9 years together and counting...
Time flies really... It's unbelievable. We had some great time and I know that more amazing time will come in the future.
We had a lot of people invited (mostly my husband family since he has over twenty something aunts and uncles plus their spouses and the cousins...). We gave away Hershey's Hugs and Kisses as well as one copy of the Superman Wedding per couple. We had my brother-in-law dancing in his socks which is a tradition in upper north Ontario when a younger sibling gets married before the older sibling. We had fun!
Our honeymoon destination: Walt Disney World Florida.
I love you sweatheart! xoxoxo

2000$ more in our pockets.....
So my father-in-law came on Monday and left with a part from the washer, went to a store and got a new part. Cost? 70$. WoW!
I am so happy that my father-in-law is handy with these kind of stuff... and is willing to spend time to help us out.
Thanks dear father-in-law. You are irreplaceable... Love ya lots!
2000$ more in our pockets.....
Yes, my father-in-law helped us to save 2000$... 2000$ that we really didn't have right now. This amount is what it would cost for front-load washer and dryer... believe it or not.

One more down....
So now the debate is should we get it repaired or just go for a new one. As if we needed this!!! A decision need to be made sometime soon because we won't last without a washer very long.
Arg! First the dishwasher, now the washer... What's next?

My washer is leaking... Water coming out of it and my laundry room was sort of flooded...

Mixed feelings....
1) We follow him to this new hospital which is okay, more French, not as new as the one I was before.
2) He gives us a doctor that stays at the hospital where I was before which is closer to the children's hospital (actually it is communicating from the basement).
So you can see the debate here. We love our doctor and he did all the previous c-sections on me... but if there is complications and the baby needs to be transferred to the children's hospital then I should stick with the hospital I was before.
I hate making these kind of decisions... What to do? No sense of peace in me and I don't sense what God is telling me....
Mixed feelings...
We had our OB appointment this week. Hubby came with me to see what the doctor would say. We learned that he will be changing hospital (a bit further from our house). So two options are offered to us...

Day trip to Syracuse...
Even though it was a tiredsome trip... for a pregnant woman that is, it was fun to spend time with my hubby since he is extemely busy lately with the home business and the ministries he is involved as well.
My highlights of the day was that I was able to go to a Staples to get the Desk Apprentice. Can't find it in Ontario so I was so happy to get one. My friend Julie had one and I thought it was the most intelligent way to organize some crafts stuff for the kids... So now I am the proud owner of a Desk Apprentice. Horray! It is sitting on my desk and that corner is a bit more organized. Check out the Desk Apprentice at Staples.
Also, my dear husband was able to find a fishing/camping/hunting store and there he got something for fishing... and he got me a Wild Clingers from Wild Republic. I love my ladybug! Thanks love.
