Life at Oak Grove

I am participating in the 2011 Mommytography 365 Project! For this year long project I will be posting an image a day, to get me out shooting, using my camera and learning new things with it daily. Anyone interested in photography can join, no need to be a Mommytographer. We have teens to adults, male and female, as well as people from all over the world. Come join the fun!

Today I have to share two pictures…

Last night, my son Dominic (age 6 3/4) came to us with the mannequin of Barbie clothes and the end of one of his Lego Sand Troopers of Star Wars…  It was so funny that I had to take of picture of it this morning (but I decided to clothe the mannequin first!).  

Today in Ottawa, it is snowing (finally after all the snow has melted over the Christmas Holidays!).   And Dominic was looking up the sky today to watch the snow fall down (to which is said “it looks like bird poop coming down….”  ya right…) and it gave me an idea.    I decided to point the camera toward the sky.  The first picture I took didn’t have the sun through the clouds but when I turned and saw the sun trying to come out… I thought it would be a great picture.   So here is SNOW FALLING ON OTTAWA, ON.
