A delicious recipe from my kitchen!
This is a wonderful recipe... We got it at the kids cooking course last year. Just made a batch and I had to share it with everyone...
Ooey Gooey Chocolate Brownies
Makes 12 large brownies or 24 small
Ingredients:
- 1 package chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/3 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 Caramel Sundae Syrup
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup SKOR toffee baking bits
Method:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, milk and eggs. Stir with a wooden spoon until well blended. Press half of the mixture or a little bit more evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan. It will just cover the bottom of the pan. Bake for 6 minutes in the preheated oven.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips and toffee bits over the top. Drizzle the caramel sauce across the top. Spread the remaining brownie dough over the top. Return to the oven fo an additional 20 to 25 minutes, or just until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clear. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
Hint: Spray your knife with cooking spray to make it easier to spread the batter. It will be very sticky...
