Where is Jérémy??? again....

Lately, I don't know what is going on in the little head of my thrid son but when I find him too quiet I know something is going on...

At first, it was the yogourt.  He would grab two (not one but two...) and a spoon and go hide behind the island next to the garbage and eat both at the same time!   So we put a plastic lock on the fridge.   Since then....

He passed to bread.   He would grab the bag of bread and go hide at the same place to eat...   We caught him four times so far including this morning after breakfast.   My husband looked at me once and said "At least if he would pick another place..."  but no always the same place.

Today... once again it was too quiet.   I think Dominic came back and said "Jérémy is playing with the formula."  Boy!  did I ever got up fast from my chair where I was sitting explaining something to Alexandre.    And yes!  He was indeed playing with the formula, pouring it on the floor with the scoop.   He got punished and while I asked Alexandre to bring the camera, he went to get a towel to try to clean it up...  LOL   Alexandre then went to get the vacuum and I cleaned it up but he had some on himself as well.

I wonder what I need to do now for him to stop grabbing stuff from the countertop - NOW the formula is pushed real far from the side as well as the bread...

Ladybug girl...

This little bug caught my heart...   I already found a little dress with a ladybug on it!   And a friend in the states will order the ladybug tights on gap.com for me because they don't deliver in Canada and I can't find them around here anymore...

Nose story and Great Commission...

You are probably why I linked the Great Commission with a nose story... Let me tell you.

Yesterday morning at 5:30 am  (EST) my daughter Jasmine was crying.  So I get out of bed to give her the soother. But then I decided to go to the bathroom before...   I'm a mom since almost  7 years and I woke up often in the night for various reasons I never had to walked around with my hands in front of me.   NEVER!   But that morning somehow I wasn't following the path and BAM!  I hit the door frame with the nose.   OUCH!   I was in pain - yelled - hubby jump out of bed asking me what happened and if I was hurt... I say "Ice Pack, Ice Pack, Ice Pack!"   Off he goes and come back with three...  LOL  While he is gone I am unsure if I broke the nose or not, if I am bleeding or not, but MAN does it hurt.   You wouldn't believe this for a nose but it does....

Thankgoodness for the ice pack, I think I got the swelling down... but this morning it's bruised slightly.   Cute nose job really!   Light purple and still sore.   Oh well!

But yesterday was a special day for us - we were to be commissioned with our team for H.E.A.T. in our home church - Sequoia Community Church.   So you can imagine what was going through my head when the nose story happened.   Fortunately, I didn't have to go to the hospital.

So we came to church early since Rob was speaking yesterday - giving the H.E.A.T. story to the congregation.  Two of our team members came and gave some testimonies.   The church prayed for us and off we go to plant in two weeks.   Two weeks before the first service...   Twice a month for three months and then weekly.   WoW!  Time flies fast.

Emotional day for me yesterday... I'm leaving a church family that I love and care for...  Mind you I know I have another church family already with the team but still it's hard to cut the ombilical cord.

To announce the birth of H.E.A.T. we had asked Pastor Rick to become "pregnant" and similate a birth.  Under his shirt - a pillow with the H.E.A.T. t-shirt.   The congregation loved it!    Symbolizing the conception, creation and birth of H.E.A.T.  It was original...  Hey  he made a sermon in a baby outfit a while back why not having him a birth???  LOL

For those of you who want to follow our journey with H.E.A.T., please check out the H.E.A.T. blog.

Wondering where we are heading...

Ever wonder why the plans you are making are sometimes changed in a matter of a split seconds?

We are experiencing that these days...   We had planned to get rid of debt before making any kind of decision about where we will live...  I mean we are debating between staying here or living in the country.   Have a few acres with a barn where we could have some H.E.A.T. events is a dream.   Hey!   Nothing is lost but somehow God made clear to hubby that we need to finish the basement in this present house so that we can have some training facility for H.E.A.T. .   As off next month we will rent some space in a church downtown our city to have our services.  But if some training is needed for our leadership team or for members of our church we were stuck... Nothing.

It all started when a client of ours who works in appraisal and have contacts with engineers who designs home told my husband that because of ALL the snow we got this winter there could be flood occuring in the basements...  Mmmm!   Our basement is still crowded with boxes from previous move and all the business equipment is there.   So we started organizing our home to move some things around.   Alexandre and Dominic are now sleeping in the bunk bed and Jérémy on his new bed ALL in the same room.   The previous room of Alexandre and Dominic will become the business office for now and eventually maybe the classroom.   Mind you it is a smart move since the boys will all sleep in the same area during camping in the trailer but we do need adjustments.   So far it is going well...

After we organized that room that's when God spoke to my husband by telling them we need to finish the basement (even if it is partially ie walls, floors...) so that we can use the space for H.E.A.T. - mmmm!  we had thought about that but not this year...   What about our debt?  Looks like it can wait.   So slowly, Rob and the boys are bringing some boxes in the garage which is now empty because we are putting the cars outside (even if it is still cold).   Bottom line is that boxes are not coming back in unless we can put the books or stuff somewhere in the house...   Right - that doesn't include the comics boxes obviously...

So re-organizing we are doing.   And the boys are learning to live together in the same room.   Jasmine is unmoved byt he changed.   The only thing that is changed for her is that she has pierced ears...   She is soooooo cute with them.   Sweet little girl!

Now because of the changes here... I need to re-organize my office so that the server can be put there.   As soon as the basement is finished - we will mark down the floor to sub-divised the area.   A guest room will be there as well as an office for Rob and a bathroom as well.   The rest we need to think about...

Rosetta Stone to win...

We have being doing Rosetta Stone in our Homeschool to perfect the French Language.   We love the quality of the software.   It is amazing how fast Alexandre is grabbing things.  Mind you - French is his first language , English being the second one.   We want to get the Spanish version this year and prepare to go on mission with the kids eventually.   But this morning I learned about a contest on the blogosphere...  So here it is - if you want to win a Rosetta Stone Language Training software please see below...

******************************

Rosetta Stone has been the #1 foreign language curriculum among homeschoolers for a while -- next week they are unleashing a brand new curriculum, and you can WIN the *all new* Rosetta Stone Homeschool Version 3… FOR FREE! This is a $219 program (and believe me it's worth every penny!) and the winner gets to pick from any of these 14 languages: Spanish (Spain or Latin America), English (American or British), Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Irish, Hebrew, or Russian. This will also include a headset with microphone, and students will participate in lifelike conversations and actually produce language to advance through the program. Rosetta Stone still incorporates listening, reading and writing as well, in addition to speaking. Many homeschoolers requested grammar and vocabulary exercises, and with Rosetta Stone Homeschool Version 3, they're included! For parents, the new Parent Administrative Tools are integrated into the program and allow parents to easily enroll students in any of 12 predetermined lesson plans, monitor student progress, and view and print reports. To win this most excellent program -- in the language of your choice -- copy these (blue) paragraphs and post it in (or as) your next blog post -- then to enter the contest, go to the original contest page HERE: http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/JenIG/501132/ and leave a comment with the link showing where you blogged about it. And please make sure the link works to get back to the original contest page when you post it. And good luck! The winner will be picked randomly on March 26, and will be notified thru the link they left to their blog pg. And if you have more than one blog, you can post them and enter those separately for more chances to win. Yay for free stuff !

One step closer....

Yep I'm one step closer to being 40.  Not yet though next year...  I am turning 39 today.   That's it for living in the 30s... LOL

Oh and today I am sharing this special day with a dear friend of mind who lives in Pennsylvania.   HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEIDI - please go wish her an happy birthday at ReviewsByHeidi.

Funny part is that I know most of the gifts I will get since I bought them...  That's what happens when you go to the store and call your husband on the cell phone to tell him about something and he says to buy it.   Mind you when you are in Costco, you have no choice really.   I got two books on how to draw there....   When Rob went back a couple of weeks later to get some for H.E.A.T. well there wasn't any.

Yesterday, Jasmine turned three months.  So to celebrate it, we went to the mall and got her ear pierced.   She cried a bit but she is so cute with her little earrings.   Daddy spoiled her - let me tell you that.   He loves his little girl, only the best for her.

When I had my ears pierced I got golden studs... She got crystal hearts.   Cute!  Very cute!

Also at the mall yesterday a woman passed a comment on how many kids we had...  She asked us is we were planning to have any more.   What kind of comments is that?   Hubby thinks I need to have a tougher skin - because of H.E.A.T. because it disturb me so much afterward.   At first I said no to her and she said something else I didn't heard...  But after thinking about it I don't think it's her business.   Most people were shocked that we had four children.   What is going on???   Noone were passing comments to the lady in the mall with her 5 kids - was it because she was from another country and it is more expected from them?   What would they say if they saw a family that we know that have 10 kids?   Maybe I should wrote to the mom to ask her how she deals with these kind of comments...

As we cross the line for Spring at the same time, I am quite excited about the upcoming H.E.A.T. service.  Excited and a bit stressed at the same time.   Can't help it - it's in my blood I think.   I want it so much to be a success...

Snowed in? Not really with our 4x4 but still lots of snow came down...

How much?  45 CM to be exact and if we get another 44 cm or so we will beat the 1971 record of snow.   So I would like to see that record go down... my neighbors?  probably not...  LOL.

A guy here in our city even made a 19 foot wall between his house and his neighbor with all the snow that came down... And he is not finished to be honest with the 45 cm that came down during the night...

Here's a few pics of this morning...  BTW we drove to church and nobody were there....
